Hi. I'm Alpha Carinae. Like the star. I chose this name because it's the star I see through my window when I go to sleep. I think. It's hard to tell. This isn't the username I usually use online, but I wanted to use something different because this site isn't meant to be like my other online places. Also it's because I'm paranoid that if I use my normal name someone will find this site. I want this to be my little secret.

what I'm doing now:

Long-term:

1. Studying mathematical engineering (finishing my second year). I'm finally wrapping up the common courses that all engineers take, and I'm starting to get into the math stuff. Also starting on some courses on transportation engineering.

Short-term:

1. Learning origami. Very fun and surprisingly easy to get into. Also makes for nice gifts.
2. Getting through my 40+ albums-I-want-to-listen-to backlog.
3. Working on this site. I have some ideas of things I want to do, and am getting more comfortable with putting stuff here.
4. Actually doing pretty good.
